First-timer or long-termer, BbWorld can be an overwhelming experience! There’s much to see and even more to do. But there are a few tools that can help you make the most of your experience in Washington, DC regardless of if you’re attending BbWorld, the Developers Conference (or both)!

A Program Book – Who Needs It?
Well not me! Because I use MyPlanner, an itinerary builder tool available on MyBbWorld. Why does this matter? Well this year, as part of our green initiative, we’ve radically changed the format of the BbWorld program book. Instead of the 200+ page behemoth you’ve seen in years past, we’ll be distributing a pocket-sized program that contains session titles and speakers, but no descriptions.

That means it’s more important than ever for you to check out our online program. Login using your registration username and password, and use MyPlanner to search for sessions and save them to your own personal itinerary. Search by keyword, role, theme or even special tags like “Program Committee Top Pick.”  At the conference, either bring a print-out of your personal itinerary or, even better, view it on your internet-enabled mobile device! Once you’re at the conference, you can also access the program at our Internet Cafe or via wireless internet, available throughout the BbWorld conference space for BbWorld attendees.

The Exhibit Hall at BbWorld is a great place to meet with Blackboard’s partners and learn more about how they can help you meet your institution’s needs. But why wait? You can start working with exhibitors now using the MyExhibitors tool, also available at MyBbWorld. Search for partners by keyword or category, and add them to your personal exhibitor list. Take a look at their virtual booth and make appointments to discuss your needs.

So login to MyBbWorld now and take advantage of some of these tools – make the most of your conference…before you even arrive!
