Today marks the start of the NCAA Tournament, easily one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. Following Selection Sunday, the Blackboard team took a close look at the 68 selected teams and are proud to report that 66 of the 68 schools are Blackboard users.

Not sure about your bracket, but here, we’re rooting hard for some of our great Blackbaord partners and alma maters. And, while the tournament brings out the very best in school spirit and excitement, it also presents a lot of distractions to students and athletes. We expect that teams and staff hitting the road for the next two weeks will stay connected to their classes and assignments as they have done all season, by logging in to Blackboard Learn. For schools that have Blackboard Mobile Learn, keeping up on grades, assignments and even dashing off a quick blog for class is even easier because it can happen on the go. If you’re a student who can’t travel to the game because of a group project or Chem lab, keep up with the latest scores with your school’s Blackboard Mobile Central app.

Do you have school spirit? Tweet us your pics with the hashtag #bbncaa and we’ll feature some of the best on the blog between now and April 4.
