As the COVID-19 pandemic drove the abrupt shift to remote instruction in March 2020, we started sharing data insights to help us collectively understand the impact on education. In May, we looked specifically at the impact the shift had on learning as we noticed learners accessing coursework in new locations, on different devices, and seeking support more frequently and at different times. And in the early summer, we noticed educators building the next generation of online courses to better meet the needs of these learners. Months later, we’re seeing sustained and dynamic use of our digital tools to enable teaching and learning.
Many of our clients were leading digital transformations across their campuses long before 2020. Today’s ongoing digital transformation provides us with unique data insights that enable us to design and deliver the next wave of EdTech based on data from all learners, not just the subset of learners that were using digital technologies prior to the COVID-19 crisis.
