Blended learning should be experiential and activity-based

According to India’s National Education Policy’s 2020, online learning, alone, isn’t enough. An intentional effort to include experiential learning must accompany this effort. Experiential learning isn’t just another phrase for face-to-face education, it means truly engaging the learner in ways to interact with their education.

Utilizing emerging technologies to heighten student engagement can be an excellent method through which active blended learning can be achieved. Additionally, the same rules that apply in a physical classroom setting may not translate into the online engagement environment. Proper training becomes vital to the educator’s success in this arena, as well.
