Anthology partners with Together We Rise to lift foster youth

Anthology, global EdTech leader with proven technology solutions for education, today announced a partnership with Together We Rise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the way youth navigate the foster care system in the United States. The partnership includes service opportunities for Anthology employees and monetary support for Together We Rise initiatives, reflecting the newly combined company’s commitment to advocating for underrepresented communities by bridging gaps to access for students.

“In honor of Giving Tuesday, today we launch a partnership with Together We Rise and begin a journey together toward a brighter future for children in foster care,” said Anthology Chief People Officer Denise Haselhorst. “Every day, Anthology employees are working to lower barriers and make the benefits associated with a high-quality education a reality for more learners across the globe. This partnership is an opportunity to put our values to work and demonstrate our passion for helping more youth achieve their education goals, especially youth whose voices too often go unheard.”

The partnership began through the work of a group of Anthology interns and includes virtual service opportunities for Anthology employees to build education-related kits for students in foster care, including back-to-school, tech and STEM packs. The partnership will continue to evolve throughout the year, including additional opportunities for Anthology employees to give back by engaging with Together We Rise.

“Children in foster care are often neglected and overlooked so we are extremely grateful for our supporters who have created a movement to give back to the foster community,” said Together We Rise Executive Director Gianna Dahlia. “It’s important we come together to give these youth important resources they need to have a childhood they deserve.”

Through their fundraising and network of passionate volunteers, Together We Rise strives to give children in foster care a brighter future and a sense of normalcy and belonging. For 12 years, the organization has worked with hundreds of foster agencies, social workers, Court Appointed Child Advocates and other partners to bring their programs to foster youth across the United States. They’ve delivered birthday boxes, sweet cases, superhero boxes, bicycles and other programs to foster youth and the organization’s Family Fellowship program is the largest college scholarship available for youth aging out of the foster care system.
