Today’s the day! Our VIP Blogger contest for BbWorld 2012, Blackboard’s education technology conference, closes tonight. So, if you’ve been procrastinating your entry, now’s the time to act. I’ve been amazed with the level of creativity and thoughtfulness that each of these bloggers have put into their entries. I wish you could all be VIP’s! Here’s another clever submission, the first of a few, from Laura Orsetti, an Instructional Designer Frontier Nursing University. Check out her blog for more!
Hmm. Well, who really doesn’t want to be a VIPBbWB?
Huh? You need more than just stating the obvious? OK. Fine. Let’s review.
As a well-established, well-unknown blogger, being a rockstar…
errr…VIP BbWorld Blogger will surely catapult me into all things fame and fortune.
While that sounds great for
me, I can offer you this: Having been a blogger almost 6 years, I can assure you that over the course of my 1000+ posts
about how my kid won’t eat or
trying to pack with twins running around, that I indeed have tens of irrelevant readers that I can bring to the table. Tens!!
And while it may seem that I spend way too much of my life writing about my grumpiness with the world and/or baby poop, I actually do write about
things seemingly relevant to my work. In fact, I have even set up this wonderful blog just for the express purpose of writing about
BbWorld while wearing a really cool t-shirt (you did say there would be a t-shirt, right?).
‘Nuff said.
Well, since I’m dangerously close to the 200-word limi…..agghhhh….
