Last year at BbWorld, we announced that Blackboard was forging a partnership with McGraw-Hill. In December, we kicked off a Limited Field Trial of a ground-breaking, integrated solution.  And now, Blackboard is excited to tell you that the launch is finally here! As of, April 14, Blackboard Learn^TM, Release 9.1 clients are now able to download a FREE Blackboard Building Block^TM to take advantage of the integrated McGraw-Hill Connect® and Create^TM solution. Now educators will be able to pull content, assignments and assessments from McGraw-Hill’s proven learning object repositories directly into their courses from within the Blackboard Learn platform. And students will stay more actively engaged with the media-rich, high quality content found in this seamlessly integrated, total course solution which includes:

• McGraw-Hill Connect® : A leading online assignment tool and assessment engine offering innovative, digital features including: LearnSmart, a powerful adaptive learning system; Tegrity, a lecture-capture tool; and a library of media-rich eBooks.
• McGraw-Hill Create^TM: A custom textbook tool that allows instructors to quickly and easily build affordable course materials by drawing upon McGraw-Hill’s comprehensive, cross-disciplinary content, as well as other third party resources.

We’re not sure what will create the most excitement: the value or the ease.
