At BbWorld this year, the Blackboard Learn Product Marketing team held a raffle at the Learn booth; those that entered were placed in the running to win $500 for an educational charity of their choice.
I am happy to announce that Jean Anderson, Instructional Designer at
Blinn College in Texas, and an ANGEL client, was selected as our winner and has chosen to donate her prize to the
Blinn College Foundation at her very own institution.
I was thrilled to learn that my entry was selected in Blackboard’s Giving Back to Education charity drawing. I knew when I won the award that I wanted the money to go directly to Blinn College’s most valuable asset – our student community. — Jean Anderson
The Blinn College Foundation was created to provide support to programs and activities which enhance the quality of education for Blinn College students. The program has raised over $10 million dollars since it was founded in 2000 and, currently, has over 190 endowed scholarships that total over $12 million dollars.
