The User Experience team in Product Development is tasked with being the advocate for you, Blackboard users. So how do we do that? We ask questions, we watch you use Blackboard software, we read your enhancement requests, we read your bugs reported, we listen to your ideas, we try to replicate what you do in your Blackboard system. With every project we tackle, we aim to increase the amount of user research that serves to influence the design of what is delivered in the product. It is hard to believe that BbWorld ‘09 is next week. Rhonda and I are both excited about what this year will have to offer. We
have been attending these conferences for several years now and each year
brings new ideas and possibilities. While I am always interested in learning
about the direction of the Blackboard platforms, I personally enjoy making
connections with other educators who are looking at creative and powerful ways
of changing the face of learning and making teaching and learning more
relevant.
