We guarantee you’ll leave BbWorld feeling inspired by the networking and development opportunities that are important to the work you do throughout the year. Of course, that’s to be expected.
But what if we told you to prepare to be inspired by the
most interesting person you’ve never heard of: Sir Ken Robinson. An internationally recognized thinker and author on
education, creativity and innovation, Robinson will deliver the opening keynote
at BbWorld.
Did you enjoy folding paper airplanes more than doing long division back when you were young? Robinson would say that’s untapped creativity, not a recipe for detention. At BbWorld, you’ll get a view into his unconventional ideas about how education can support – not stifle – the creativity and passion in everyone.
Robinson was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for decades of service to education and the arts and he currently works with governments, cultural groups and organizations and Fortune 500 companies to address creative challenges facing education in today's global economy.
He was professor of education at
the University of Warwick in the U.K. for 12 years, and has authored two New
York Times best-selling books about the intersections between education,
creativity and the challenges of the 21st century: “The Element:
How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything,” and
“Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative.”

You may not have heard of Sir Ken before, but we don’t think you’ll forget him or his ideas about education after seeing him at BbWorld in July.
