The information technology research and advisory company, Gartner, evaluates corporate learning systems via its Magic Quadrant report. The firm recently released the 2011 report, which positions Blackboard as a Niche Player within the industry. Blackboard was placed in the Niche Players Quadrant due to our ability to execute and our completeness of vision.
Blackboard Learn™ for Corporations is not an LMS. It is the online learning and professional development tool that has been designed from the ground up for learner engagement (which often results in a deeper form of learning). So think about the times when you need to keep your sales reps up to speed on new products, do development training, continuously develop your high-potential performers, or have partners and clients dispersed around the globe and you need to get relevant content in their hands immediately. Regardless of a business’ needs, Blackboard’s online learning environment allows organizations and their working professionals to stay apprised and collaborate more fluidly – and ultimately, at a much lower cost. “This Magic Quadrant graphic was published by Gartner, Inc. as part of a larger research note and should be evaluated in the context of the entire report.
