This past year we have developed many tools and resources based on feedback we have received from you – our clients – to help you throughout each stage of the upgrade process to Blackboard Learn™, Release 9.1. We now have over 1000 clients on our latest generation platform and we strive to continue to support those of you who are still going through the transition process.
When Blackboard Learn™, Release 9.1 launched this past spring, we also instituted a new initiative that we envisioned as a way to better prepare our clients for their transition to Release 9.1. The Release 9.1 Upgrade Cohort Program was specifically created and designed to give our clients more guidance and support during their upgrade process. The 12-week long program covered different upgrade planning topics each week. It also provided clients the opportunity to network with others who are moving along a similar path and learn from those who have already transitioned to Release 9.1. The program is facilitated by me in Product Marketing and some of our top Solution Engineers, Matt Davis and John Dennett.
We’ve assembled all the expertise that went into creating the web version of the Upgrade Center at BbWorld so you can experience it LIVE. A variety of activities have been developed to assist you through the five steps to upgrading:
