I am a Senior Product Manager here at Blackboard and today I am extremely excited to tell you about our newest product release, Blackboard Drive™! Blackboard Drive is now part of the Content Management Module license and today we are releasing Blackboard Drive for Windows^® . Blackboard Drive is the simple, user-friendly way to work with file based content in the Content Management module.  I know it is really going to benefit users and the IT staff and I am looking forward to hearing what clients think. Let me begin with why we are launching Blackboard Drive in the first place.  The Content Management module can provide users with increased efficiencies through centralized management of content in the learning system and anytime-anywhere web based access. To leverage these benefits at scale you need to overcome the hurdles of user adoption.  With Blackboard Drive we think we found the solution.  It is simple and intuitive for users (which will drive usage) and provides a more consistent and reliable experience than we were able to achieve with WebDAV or Web Folders.
